Registration Deadlines

Online - at Active.com anytime up to Monday, May 12 at midnight - Click the Register Online button below. After 5/12, you must take your chances at "Day Of" Late Registration on Friday May 16 or Saturday May 17.

Mail/Fax - Entry form: PDF format or Microsoft Word Format, or call or fax us, and we will mail or fax an entry form to you. You may return entries by mail or fax. Entries must be received in our office no later than Monday May 12 after which they will be moved to late registration on Friday & Saturday and subject to a late fee, if numbers are still available.

• Course-specific finishers cups (upon finishing at MCC)

Minimum Age - 12

The event is open to 1500 participants total.

General Registration and Packet-Pick-up Information

1. Pre-registered Riders - Pick up their packets and all items at Friday May 16 or Saturday May 17 Packet Pick-up (see below).
2. WAIVERS - ALL RIDERS WILL SIGN WAIVERS AT PACKET PICK-UP AND REGISTRATION.
3. Friends and Family Pick-up - Packets MAY be picked-up for pre-registrants if they present the following at Packet Pick-up/Registration:
   1. A copy of the Driver's License of the registrant
   2. Two (2) signed waivers:
      • SDC Event Waiver (pdf)
      • County of San Diego Waiver (pdf)
4. Minors (U18) must have parent or guardian sign waivers at registration or else present a signed letter of permission with copy of parent/guardian's drivers license attached.
5. Riders MUST pick up all pre-ordered clothing at Packet Pick-up on Friday or Saturday. SDC WILL NOT MAIL UN-RETRIEVED CLOTHING OR PREMIUMS.
6. Day Of Entry Registration is available ONLY if spots are available. No guarantee on gifts or sizes for "Day Of" entries.

PRE-EVENT - Friday May 16th, 2008 - Noon to 7:00pm

B&L Bike and Sports, 211 N. Hwy 101, Solana Beach, CA 920175 (Official Bike Shop)

Directions -

From the South - North on I-5 , exit on Lomas Santa Fe (one exit past Del Mar Race Track), turn west (left) on Lomas Santa Fe., go 3 miles to HWY 101. Turn right on HWY 101 and make U-Turn at first street (Estrella St.). B&L is on the Southbound side of HWY 101 at 211 N. HWY 101 in Solana Beach. Friday registration and packet pick-up is in the lot at the back of the store.

From the North - Take I-5 south to Lomas Santa Fe. (four exits past Encinitas Blvd.). Follow instructions above.

From the East - Take I-8 or CA-78 west to I-5. Go North or South as above.

EVENT MORNING - Saturday May 17, 2008 - 6:00am to 8:00am

MIraCosta College, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA 92007 (Start/Finish). Packet Pick-up & "Day Of" Registration is in the SW corner of the MCC Parking lot - follow the signs - look for tents. Get there early!

Directions:

From the South - North on I-5 (approx. 25 miles north of San Diego Airport), exit on Manchester Ave. (two exits past Del Mar Race Track), turn east (left) on Manchester Ave., go ½ mile to MiraCosta College Ave.(3333 Manchester Ave, Cardiff-By-The-Sea CA, 92007) Turn left into MiraCosta College parking lot. Start and Finish are from the lot.

From the North - Take I-5 south to Manchester Ave. (three exits past Encinitas Blvd.). Follow instructions above.

From the East - Take I-8 or CA-78 west to I-5. Go North or South as above.

From the West - Nearest marina is in Oceanside. Tie up, take I-5 south.

Refunds & Transfers

Refund and transfer (to 2009 event) requests received by April 13 will be honored but subject to a $10.00 administrative fee. From April 14 to May 12, there is a $20.00 fee. After May 12, there are no transfers or refunds of registered riders.

Entries received after 5/12 will be moved to Late Registration and returned if not picked up as "Day Of" Late Registration.
