How To Get To Encinitas & Moonlight Beach Parking Lot

From the South (SD Airport) - North on I-5 (approx. 27 miles), exit at Encinitas Blvd., turn west (left) on Encinitas Blvd, go ½ mile to Third street (PAST LIGHT AT Hwy 101), turn left on 3rd. EXPO, Finish Line and TA is one block south in Moonlight Beach parking lot at corner of 3rd and “C” St.
From the North - Take I-5 south to Encinitas Blvd - follow instructions above.
From the East - Take I-8 west to I-5. Go North as above.
From the West - Nearest marina is in Oceanside. Tie up, take I-5 south.
Parking For Registration & Events
There is lots of good and free parking four blocks away from Moonlight Beach at Encinitas City Hall (Vulcan between “D” & “E”) and at the COASTER Station (west of Vulcan between “D” & “E”). Parking is quite limited in the neighborhoods west of 101 due to street closures and residents’ parking. Please observe 2 hour parking limits on Hwy. 101.

How To Get To Encinitas and the MiraCosta College Start/Finish
From the South - North on I-5 (approx. 25 miles north of San Diego Airport), exit on Manchester Ave. (two exits past Del Mar Race Track), turn east (left) on Manchester Ave., go ½ mile to MiraCosta College Ave.(3333 Manchester Ave, Cardiff-By-The-Sea CA, 92007) Turn left into MiraCosta College parking lot. Start and Finish are from the lot.
From the North - Take I-5 south to Manchester Ave. (three exits past Encinitas Blvd.). Follow instructions above.
From the East - Take I-8 or CA-78 west to I-5. Go North or South as above.
From the West - Nearest marina is in Oceanside. Tie up, take I-5 south.
Parking For Saturday Packet-Pick-up, Late Registration & Event At MiraCosta College (MCC)
There is ample free parking at MiraCosta College on ride day if you arrive early (before 7:00am). Overflow Parking will be at sites on El Camino Real (1/2 mile past MCC - Manchester Ave. turns into El Camino Real ) ) - look for "SDC - OVERFLOW PARKING" signs. Best strategy - get there EARLY!!!
How To Get To Friday Packet-Pick-up At B&L Bike & Sports
From the South - North on I-5 , exit on Lomas Santa Fe (one exit past Del Mar Race Track), turn west (left) on Lomas Santa Fe., go 3 miles to HWY 101. Turn right on HWY 101 and make U-Turn at first street (Estrella St.). B&L is on the Southbound side of HWY 101 at 211 N. HWY 101 in Solana Beach. Friday registration and packet pick-up is in the lot at the back of the store.
From the North - Take I-5 south to Lomas Santa Fe. (four exits past Encinitas Blvd.). Follow instructions above.
From the East - Take I-8 or CA-78 west to I-5. Go North or South as above.

Charming “Old Encinitas” on historic HWY 101, stretches ¾ mile between Encinitas Blvd south to “K” St. It is filled with excellent restaurants, unusual shops and other places to visit. Encinitas is also home to the famous Self-Realization Center and Swami’s surfing beach (next to SRF). North along HWY 101 is the community of Leucadia
